Cypress advised FIP Pirineus on the acquisition of Petrobras’ participation on Eólica Mangue Seco 2

Cypress advised FIP Pirineus in the acquisition of Petrobras’ stake in Eólica Mangue Seco 2, in the amount of R$ 34.2 million.

Established in 2015, the fund aims to invest in clean energy generation projects from renewable sources. With the transaction, FIP Pirineus acquires full control of a wind power generation asset, which already held a 49% interest.

Eólica Mangue Seco 2 is part of a complex of four wind farms in Gumaré, Rio Grande do Norte, with an installed capacity of 104 MW.
