Cypress advised FIP Pirineus with the strategy of its bid in the A-6 energy auction, enabling it to win 3 Small Hydropower Plants. The projects totalling 42MW of installed capacity and will be built on the São Bartolomeu River, in the state of Goiás.
The A-6 auction occurred on October 18, allowing the construction of 2.97 GW in new projects. Of the 91 winning projects, 27 are hydropower, totalling 172 MW on average.
